Au Bon Pain

I work out at a gym that is in the building next to Central most every day. Because of its convenience I have gotten into the habit of having one of my meals at Au Bon Pain. Apparently we have this chain in the states too. But, there is none in CO. Au Bon Pain serves Sandwiches, Soups, Wraps, Salads, Bagels, and Pastries. Due to my often appearance at this little spot, I have become friends with the workers. There are three gals (Zeer, Guam, and Lin) whom I have conversations with often. A few weeks ago I had them over to my home for dinner and games. We ate, talked, and played games. Our relationship is deeper now. Not only do I get free “lemon Iced Teas” but 20% off things that I order and (if it is in the evening) free pastries to take home. If I do not come into Au bon Pain, I get a phone call or Facebook message asking where I have been. They told my roommate that they know that we are Christians by our kindness, compassion, gentleness, genuineness and demeanors. So, if you could pray for this relationship and that God continues to be evident in and through us in their lives. Pray that they will desire to know God personally themselves.

  1. Do you work out at Nation tower? That sounds like a great routine. I LOVE that restaurant. I ate at one in the airport a few weeks ago and thought of Central. That's awesome that you've made great friends and been a witness for Jesus. Maybe I can continue that routine for you when I get there?

  2. I work out at Fitness first...which is the building connected to Central. It is only two bus stops away from Nation Tower. And the gym is way nicer with many more classes, machines, and weights. I will take you there when you get here. And Yes....IT will be great if you can maintain the relationship. I soo look forward to your arrival Melanie!!!
