An hour later I received an e-mail from my coach, Jennifer, with Mission to the World. Her e-mail confused me as I read about an extra $9,000.00 that I did not know about. I thought I should give her a call because I thought she was mistaken.
After our conversation, I sat on the couch...STUNNED. With the anonymous gifts and the funding I had yet to send in...I am ready to start moving forward with planning an actual date to depart to the mission field in Bangkok.
"O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago." -Isaiah 25:1
As a testimony I hope you see that this was not of my doing...IT WAS GOD'S!!! There is NO WAY I would have been able to raise the $25,000.00+ dollars on my own.
There is Still Need for YOUR PRAYERS prior to being in the field:
- Another $2,000.00 is still needed to complete the envisioned ministry needs.
- My Passport has not yet arrived.
- That I may be able to understand how to speak in the Thai language correctly.
- Guidance with which Consulate would be best/fastest one for me to use to attain my Visa: Denver or D.C?
- Affordable Plane Tickets to Bangkok
- God's perfect timing for my departure date
I hope my testimony to God's perfect timing encourages you to continue trusting God in your future plans. There is no need to worry. He has already began to teach me to rely on Him as he is my provider and my sustainer.
